Redeemer Community Church

Wednesday night, we were honored to host Sho Baraka for our first Talkback of the season. If you weren’t able to make it, Sho invited us to consider how our creativity–in any walk of life–is a means of cultivating the Kingdom of God. In short, our work is “love made visible” and an opportunity to reflect the glory of God in a broken world. THE NEXT TALKBACK ON JUNE 25 On June 25, we will hear from Janet King of The Gathering Lab and Ben Sciacca, Redeemer's Local Ministry Coordinator, on the topic of friendships and community. Janet and Ben will address the honest question many of us are asking: “Why is making friends as an adult so hard?” They will discuss how we can move past small talk and into something deeper. Whether you're looking for weekend hangouts or deep soul-level connection, they will explore the barriers that keep us isolated and the fears that prevent us from moving beyond our comfort zones. Together we will look at how we are hardwired by God for community and how we fight against the digital age that keeps us disconnected. What’s so special about this Talkback? It will serve as a springboard for opportunities coming later this summer to meet and build meaningful friendships right here at Redeemer, so you don't want to miss it!
