This past Sunday, we were excited to announce four elder candidates: David Presley, Josh Baker, Mike Frederick, and Russell Wright. Over the past nine months, these men have walked through Redeemer’s shepherding training, a dedicated season of preparation, discipleship, and mutual discernment. Sunday’s announcement is part of our desire to welcome you into the process. Over the coming weeks, pray for our church and specifically for these men as we seek God’s call on their lives. Additionally, please share your feedback about these men and their fitness to serve our church in the future as elders. We rejoice in the ways God continues to provide shepherds for His church, and we look forward with gratitude and hope to all that He will do through these men and through Redeemer in the days ahead. SUBMIT FEEDBACK If you have something to share about the fitness of these men to be elders at Redeemer, visit rccbirmingham.org/elders.
