Last week, 20 individuals from our church family took part in our church’s first local service trip with @oaktreeministries in nearby Gate City. Together, they tackled dense vegetation that had overtaken Oak Tree’s Newman Center, one of their newest initiatives to provide skills training for the local community. They also broke bread with Oak Tree’s staff and the youth that comprise their You Lead program. We look forward to seeing how our relationship with Oak Tree continues to grow in the future, as well as how their dedicated efforts have a life-changing impact in their community.
