This Sunday, we had the joy of introducing four elder candidates to our congregation: Ford Galin, Brian Krogsgard, Chris Kudirka* (Sorry for the misspelling above!), and Cole Ragsdale. Over the past nine months, these men have participated in Redeemer’s shepherding training, a season of prayer, discipleship, theological formation, and discernment as they seek God’s call to shepherd His church. As a church, we believe the discernment of elders is a process the whole congregation shares in. In the weeks ahead, we invite you to pray for these men, their families, and our church as we seek the Lord’s wisdom together. We also encourage you to share any feedback regarding their character and fitness to serve as elders. We are this thankful for the ways the Lord continues to provide faithful shepherds for His church, and we look forward with gratitude to all He will do in and through Redeemer. Submit feedback if you have something to share regarding the fitness of these men to serve as elders at Redeemer, please visit rccbirmingham.org/elders.
